Home time…

Day 11 – Tuesday 9/9 – Keramas (post 3/3) It’s massage time so I head to the boutique & waste a bit of time, buy a cute purse, ring & some coconut scented sunscreen. I am taken to a dimly lit room with gentle music playing. I have the pleasure of those awesome paper undies…

Splash splash – Beach clubs rock!

Day 11 – Tuesday 9/9 – Keramas (post 2/3) Bali kopi not good, such a shame as I loved all the Bali coffees I’ve had. I grab a juice that looks like a cocktail & some corn fritters. It all tastes like sunshine! I head back to the room to grab my pool stuff &…

Pantai = beach, jalan = walk

Day 11 – Tuesday 9/9 – Keramas (post 1/3) Up at 6.30am & out for a walk east along the beach. There aren’t many people around except some surfers. A guy about my age asks me if he should go in the surfer right where we were standing. I said that I’m no surfer but…

Beach Club Baby!

Day 10 – Monday 8/9 – Keramas Beach (post 3/3) So we arrive at Komune Resort at Keramas Beach. I say a fond farewell to Nengah & he is off. I check in & am shown to my room. It’s lovely. The website doesn’t do the rooms justice. I grab my sarong & head to…

A beautiful morning in Sideman

Day 10 – Monday 8/9 – Sideman Valley (post 1/3) Up at 6.30am. The light is beautiful so I head out for a walk back up the hill. The street is already busy with husbands & wives in traditional dress on their bikes taking their offerings down to the temple right near my hotel. There…

Puppy dogs are my favourite kind of people! These sweet, playful & skinny boys kept my daughter entertained for the arvo at Sanur Beach last trip.
So many of you lovely people in Bali at the moment or about to be, like me!! Enjoy every moment on the Island of the Gods Aren’t we lucky to have found our happy place, the place that makes our souls sing... 😊 Have a beautiful weekend πŸ’™
Pantai Kuta! . From the blog: I might have been in that awful panic that comes on your last Bali day, but I think I’d like to stay a couple of nights in Kuta on a solo trip coming up. Just two nights where I can take lots of wanders, check out the labyrinth of gangs and see Kuta a little more clearly just to know, you know? (Colin knows). Wow!
Ubud πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š. . It’s been so long since I posted anything on IG, are hashtags even a thing anymore πŸ˜‚
